D2-250外差模塊經過重新設計用于實現主從激光器兩光束的重疊從而得到光學拍音信號。新式的動態平差底座使得主從激光器兩光束的準直更加輕松快捷。輸入接口的可旋轉玻片及偏振光束分束器的使用,使得當接收到是大范圍功率范圍時可以輕松獲取外差所需要的小部分功率。該模塊光學拍音信號經拍音探測器探測后轉換為電學拍音信號,并發送給D2-135偏移鎖相伺服器用于主從激光器之間的鎖定。
D2-135偏移鎖相伺服器將拍音信號同內部參考信號或者客戶提供的外部參考信號進行對比,將從激光器以預設的偏移量緊密鎖定到主激光器。D2-250易于準直,只需要兩個激光器分別提供總功率中的很小一部分即可正常運作。
