壓電式加速度傳感器，又稱振動傳感器，是基于壓電晶體的壓電效應(yīng)工作的。某些晶體在一定方向上受力變形時，其內(nèi)部會產(chǎn)生極化現(xiàn)象，同時在它的兩個表面上產(chǎn)生符號相反的電荷；當外力去除后，又重新恢復到不帶電狀態(tài)，這種現(xiàn)象稱為“壓電效應(yīng)"，具有“壓電效應(yīng)"的晶體稱為壓電晶體。常用的壓電晶體有石英、壓電陶瓷等，在現(xiàn)代生產(chǎn)生活中被應(yīng)用于許許多多的方面，如手提電腦的硬盤抗摔保護，目前用的數(shù)碼相機和攝像機里，也有加速度傳感器，用來檢測拍攝時候的手部的振動，并根據(jù)這些振動，自動調(diào)節(jié)相機的聚焦。壓電加速度傳感器還應(yīng)用于汽車安全氣囊、防抱死系統(tǒng)、牽引控制系統(tǒng)等安全性能方面。
美國Dytran的3310A是一款高溫型加速度傳感器/振動傳感器，具有體積小、結(jié)構(gòu)堅固，高密封、耐高溫等特點，靈敏度1.2pC/g，工作溫度高達260℃。
The Dytran 3310A is a low profile piezoelectric charge mode accelerometer with a sensitivity of 1.2 pC/g designed to reliably operate in temperatures up to +500°F (+260°C).
The ultra miniature teardrop design of the model 3310A features a lightweight titanium housing weighing just 1.8 grams. Units incorporate a unique single crystal sensing element, ensuring greater temperature stability over a wider range. Units offer base isolation and hermetic sealing for reliable operation in high humidity environments, with adhesive mounting capabilities. The sensor also features a specially designed Dytran 3-56 coaxial connector, which mates with a supplied replacement cable, terminating to a 10-32 jack.
